who is Empowerment ?


Empowerment is a local NGO that was founded in Iraq, Baghdad under the issued certificate (1S1910112)

According to the provision of the constitution and Iraqi laws in force

Empowerment is working in Iraq since 2019, in Development , WASH ,Clean Energy, Climate change, Climate advocacy and dialog,

and Capacity building, Women rights, Conflict Prevention, Prevention of Violence Extremism

We aim to help reaching a peaceful, developed and sustained society full of harmony.

And empower community capacity and leadership and life skills. Also to help provide learning opportunities for youth, women, university students and activists so that they could empower their skills, knowledge and experience.

Mission & Goals

Providing the essential methods for the development of women and children, by giving them access to existing public services, and giving them the means to exercise their rights.

To have concerns related to vulnerable groups that were evacuated from their homes due to living circumstances similar to catastrophic natural conditions or war and security situation.

Developing the capabilities of young people in particular and the rest of the age groups in general and developing their skills and provide them with the expertise that enables them to manage small and medium enterprises

And get job opportunities in various areas to be able to take their role in life.
